David Copperfield once told me that the best way to become great at magic is to perform as much as possible in front of a live audience. With that advice in mind, I began performing, while attending The University of Akron, at seven different bars and restaurants as the resident strolling magician. For two years straight, I performed 2 hours of close-up magic, from table to table, every night of the week. This is what allowed me to perfect my routines, develop my performance style, and ultimately become a professional entertainer.
For the past 14 years, I’ve been too busy performing for corporations, cruise ships and other events, and haven’t had a chance to return to my training grounds to perform for the people who were my original audience.
Luckily, I was recently hired to perform, a one night only show, in one of my original residencies. The Galaxy Restaurant & Party center will be hosting “An Evening of Magic & Mind-Reading” with me as the headlong performer! I am thrilled to bring my brand new, and truly evolved, show back to my hometown! I hope to see you there!
